Madame Yu Hui Tseng and Olivier Roellinger promised one another they would get together to discuss tea and spices.
As they talked about their own personal journeys and the long and storied past of the Spice and Tea Roads, they envisioned collaborating on several different spice blends, including Fleur de Beauté (Flower of Beauty) made with ‘Academic Beauty,’ a high-quality Taiwanese tea.

Madame Yu Hui Tseng is one of the foremost tea experts in the world. She was the first tea master in France to share her extensive knowledge of teas and their complex flavor profiles.
In the mid-1990’s, she opened La Maison des Trois Thés—the largest tea cellar in the world—in the heart of Paris.

One evening, Olivier Roellinger stopped by La Maison des Trois Thés just before closing. A brief exchange between him and Madame Tseng about their shared passions turned into an extended tea tasting session. It was the beginning of a long, rich collaboration which has resulted in several original spice blends that showcase Madame Tseng’s exceptional teas: Poudre Vasco, Poudre d’Ombre and Fleur de beauté.
